WHAT DOES LONDON PODCAST STUDIOS OFFER?

We’re always expanding our amenities to meet the needs of our community, consistently introducing new equipment and processes based on customer feedback.

We have a custom built 3 metre white cyclorama wall, which is deal for creating a custom look with colours or props.
We offer up to 6 dynamic microphones for every session, from Rode, Shure or Mackie - rest assured you will sound like a pro recording a podcast from the outset!
You can record high-quality podcasts without needing technical skills using our professional yet user-friendly Zoom and Rode recorders.
With a variety of colours available, you can customise the look of your podcast with a specific colour backdrop to match your brand!

If you are thinking about incorporating other images, videos or graphics to your podcast - why not add our Green Screen to your booking? From only £10.
Both Studio 1 and Studio 2 at London Podcast Studios are acoustically treated for crispier sounding audio!
We have indoor shower facilities for creatives and stylists who wish to get themselves or clients ready before their podcast recording.
We have been blessed with 5 parking spaces at our podcast studio so rest assured travelling into London for you or your guest can be a breeze!

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST TO HIRE A PODCAST STUDIO?

You can hire most podcast spaces on an hourly basis, with pricing ranging from £49 per hour for a basic package or £89 per hour for more professional set ups. A half-day studio hire of up to 5 hours will start at £245 and a full 10 hours day at £490. Podcasting packages with both production and editing options are also available, starting at around £99 per hour of media recorded. You can add extras at check-out or request them after the recording.

WHAT DOES A PODCAST STUDIO DO?

Most podcast studios are custom-built, soundproofed recording environments that have been created to offer professional sounding audio and video quality for a range of podcast requirements.

Whether you’re a seasoned professional, or just getting started, most podcast studios usually offer a team of producers, videographers, editors, and engineers available on-site to ensure your content is produced to the highest quality.

London Podcast Studios is based in East London, with easy access via Stratford and Hackney Central; rest assured both local and international podcasters can find a home. With an in-house team readily available for all sorts of audio/visual productions, we are able to provide the physical link for brands, business and content creators looking to complete their recording with guests or other creators in and around London.

*Please note we require a deposit of £19 for this service, due to a significant amount of enquiries and no-shows. The fee is redeemable from your first booking or membership.

To receive a full refund, guests must cancel within 48 hours of making a booking, and the cancellation must occur at least 7 days before the session.
Rescheduling can also be arranged, subject to availability.

Our studios are open 9am to 10pm day 7 days a week.
Yes, we offer a discount of up to 15% for bulk bookings of 10hrs or more.

Yes, we offer a 10% student discount! Please email us a copy of your valid student ID to hello@londonpodcaststudios.co.uk and we will reply with our student discount code.
Yes, we have up to 5 parking spaces available at our Hackney studio for £2 per hour per car. You can book this online by adding it as an extra upon check-out or by card payment at the studio upon arrival.

RECORDING & EDITING

Yes, an experienced member of staff is always on-site during your booking. They will set up the equipment and show you how to use the recording equipment before you start.
Each booking comes with a FREE 30-minute slot before your booking start time to allow for set up and late guests.
If you would like an operator for the duration of your booking, you can add one on during the online booking process for an additional £49/ph.
Yes! We encourage our clients to get creative with the space and we are happy to move any furniture or plants around for you.
Unfortunately, we do not allow clients to use Blu Tak or hang anything on the walls that cannot be held up with push pins or Command strips.
We have up to 6 microphones available for each booking at no additional charge.
Your podcast will be recorded onto a ZOOM PodTrak P8 (up to 6 microphones) or RØDECASTER Pro (up to 4 microphones).
The recorders capture separate tracks for each microphone as well as a single track that contains all microphones merged in. You will be sent both options to suit your editing needs.
The files are saved in .WAV format, however, if you would like an .MP3 file instead please speak with a member of staff upon arrival.
Yes, we have 2x Sony A6400 cameras available. These can be booked as a package alongside your audio or added as an extra for £30/ph (including tripod).
Yes, you can bring your own camera or audio recording equipment.
Please allow up to 72 hours for your files to be uploaded and sent via cloud transfer.
Alternatively, you can bring a hard-drive (minimum 500GB storage) with you for instant file transfer after your session.
Both your podcast audio and video files are recorded onto an SD card. After your session, they will be transferred to you via email and available to download for up to 28 days.
After this period the files will automatically be deleted and it is your responsibility to download your files before the expiry day.
If you would like to leave with your files, we recommend you bring a hard-drive with at least 500GB of storage space available.
Please note the transfer time can take up to 30 minutes or more if you are filming in 4K.
We only allow cold food in the studio. You are more than welcome to bring drinks with you.

We do! Our audio editing rate is £49 per hour of audio recorded, our video editing rate is £99 per hour of footage and our live editing rate is £129 including an Operator (available on the Commercial package only).
This can be added to your booking during the online booking process or we can invoice you for the work if you decide to take up our editing services after your recording.

You will need to send us an editing brief with any adjustments or edits you would like us to make to your content.
We will then get to work on your edit and aim to have the first draft back to you within 5-7 working days. You will then have 1 round of revisions to request any changes, delivered within 1-3 working days.
