BOOKINGS & VIEWINGS

Yes, we offer free virtual tour of our studio on our contact page or by clicking here.
Alternatively, you can book a 30-minute tour of our studio. To book a viewing, please visit our bookings portal here or visit the contact page within the top menu.
Please note we require a £19 deposit for this service, due to no-shows and illegitimate inquiries. The fee is redeemable from your first booking or membership. -
All bookings can be made online via our booking system by clicking here
You can also click ‘book now’ in the menu or the ‘book session’ button on our contact page.

You can view our studio availability in real time by following our online booking process until you reach the calendar page.

To receive a full refund, guests must cancel within 48 hours of making a booking, and the cancellation must occur at least 7 days before the session.
Rescheduling can also be arranged, subject to availability.
PRICING

£49 per hour for audio only, £69 per hour for audio & a single camera set up, or £89 per hour for audio and two cameras. You can add an Operator to your booking at check-out for an additional £49 per hour and overtime is charged at £0.80p/£1.15p/£1.45p per minute depending on your booked package.

Yes, we offer a discount of up to 15% for bulk bookings of 10hrs or more. Please drop us an email on hello@londonpodcaststudios.co.uk@londonpodcaststudios.co.uk with your booking enquiry including the total number of hours you would like to book and we will provide you with a discounted quote.

Yes, we offer a 10% student discount! Please email us a copy of your valid student ID to hello@londonpodcaststudios.co.uk and we will reply with our student discount code.

RECORDING AT THE STUDIO

Yes, an experienced member of staff is always on-site during your booking. They will set up the equipment and show you how to use the recording equipment before you start.
Each booking comes with a FREE 30-minute slot before your booking start time to allow for set up and late guests.
If you would like an operator for the duration of your booking, you can add one on during the online booking process for an additional £49/ph. -
Yes! We encourage our clients to get creative with the space and we are happy to move any furniture or plants around for you.
Unfortunately, we do not allow clients to use Blu Tak or hang anything on the walls that cannot be held up with push pins. -
We have up to 6 microphones available for each booking at no additional charge.

Your podcast will be recorded onto a ZOOM PodTrak P8 (up to 6 microphones) or RØDECASTER Pro (up to 4 microphones).
The recorders capture separate tracks for each microphone as well as a single track that contains all microphones merged in. You will be sent both options to suit your editing needs.The files are saved in .WAV format, however, if you would like an .MP3 file instead please speak with a member of staff upon arrival.

Yes, we have 3x Sony A6400 cameras available. These can be booked as a package alongside your audio or added as an extra for £20/ph (including tripod).

Yes, you can bring your own camera or audio recording equipment.

Please allow up to 72 hours for your files to be uploaded and sent via cloud transfer. Alternatively, you can bring a hard-drive with you for instant file transfer.

Both your podcast audio and video files are recorded onto an SD card. After your session, they will be transferred to you via email and available to download for up to 28 days. After this period the files will automatically be deleted and it is your responsibility to download your files before the expiry day.
If you would like to leave with your files, we recommend you bring a hard-drive with at least 500GB of storage space available. Please note the transfer time can take up to 30 minutes or more if you are filming in 4K.

Our studios are acoustically treated and not fully soundproof.
We offer headphones with every microphone for monitoring of audio quality during your session. -
Unfortunately we enforce a strict no smoking policy in the studio, however we have a private garden patio area accessible through Studio 2, subject to availability. If you would like access to the patio, please let us know in advance.

We only allow cold food in the studio. You are more than welcome to bring drinks with you.

Yes, as long as they are well behaved we are dog friendly!

EQUIPMENT

Every booking comes with up to 6x RØDE Procaster Broadcast Dynamic Microphones.

We have 3x Sony A6400 cameras, which records in 4K.

Podcasts are recorded on either our ZOOM PodTrak P8 if you are using up to 6 microphones or RØDECASTER Pro if you only need up to 4 microphones.
Both recorders have the same features, so you may not always have the same recorder for your booking. The major difference is the amount of microphone XLR ports. -
Each booking comes with 2x LED RGB soft-box lights, which are hung overhead on our ceiling rails.
They can be temperature balanced from 3200K (tungsten) to 5600K (daylight) and you also have the option to dial the lights to any of the 6 colours on the RGB colour wheel. -
This is optional. Our studios can be booked on a self-service basis as we will provide you with a quick run-down of how the equipment works upon your arrival.
An Operator (for camera and/or sound) can be added to your booking at check-out, to ensure everything runs smoothly. The cost for an Operator is £49 per hour.
We can provide you with headphones to monitor the recording and our camera screens can be flipped to selfie mode should you wish to opt for self-service. Staff will be on site to resolve any issues/concerns you may have.

Yes, we have up to 5 parking spaces available at our Hackney studio for £2 per hour per car. You can book this online by adding it as an extra upon check-out or by card payment at the studio upon arrival.

EDITING & POST-PRODUCTION

Please allow up to 72 hours for your files to be uploaded and sent via cloud transfer. Alternatively, you can bring a hard-drive with you for instant file transfer.

Yes, we charge £99 per hour of audio for editing and £49 per hour of audio for mixing. This can be added to your booking during the online booking process, or we can invoice for the work if you decide to take up our editing services after your session.

You will need to send us an editing brief with any adjustments or edits you would like us to make to your content.
We will then get to work on your edit and aim to have the first draft back to you within 5-7 working days. You will then have 1 round of revisions to request any changes, delivered within 1-3 working days.

We do! Our video editing rate is £99 per 1 hour of content. This can be added to your booking during the online booking process or we can invoice you for the work if you decide to take up our editing services after your recording.
MEMBERSHIP

We offer 3 membership packages for those looking to record regularly. We are also able to provide a bespoke membership quote if necessary.

We have 3 main packages available as standard: £99/pm, £199/pm or £299/pm. Each membership comes with different features ranging from cameras to the number of hours each month. For a full breakdown of what’s included, please visit our ‘memberships’ page in the menu.
